Founder Conversations · An emerging thesis
From data to judgment.
We’re speaking with pre-seed and early-seed founders building B2B software and applied AI that turns fragmented or underused data into better decisions across financial infrastructure, supply chains and logistics, and energy and infrastructure.
The commercial focus is the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Founders can come from across the GCC and Levant, or elsewhere with a credible path into these markets.
This is a conversation about an emerging thesis, not a funding application or an offer to invest.
Where we're learning
A decision-maker has a consequential operational or financial choice to make. The data or information exists, but it is fragmented, underused, incomplete, or difficult to interpret. Your software helps them reach a better judgment or improve the workflow, and you can share what you've learned about the difference it makes.
I'm especially interested in pre-seed and early-seed teams serving the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Founders can be based across the GCC and Levant, or elsewhere with a credible path into these markets. You do not need a polished deck.
Financial infrastructure: Software improving how financial institutions make and execute decisions across risk, compliance, underwriting, payments, reconciliation and back-office operations.
Supply chain & logistics: Software turning fragmented demand, inventory, supplier, logistics and trade data into better decisions across forecasting, procurement, movement and working capital.
Energy & infrastructure: Software improving decisions around assets, energy, resources, revenue, efficiency and operational risk.
Different industries. The same problem. Critical decisions are often made from fragmented, underused or difficult-to-interpret data. From data to judgment. I'm interested in software and applied AI that turn that data into better, faster and more reliable decisions, with early evidence of lower risk or cost, better allocation or revenue, or greater efficiency. Working in one of these industries alone is not the thesis.
Different systems. Better decisions. Financial infrastructure shapes how capital moves; supply chains shape how goods move; energy and infrastructure shape how resources and assets are managed. What connects them is the need for better decisions about risk, allocation, timing and effectiveness.
AI is an enabler, not the thesis. I'm interested in AI, software, data infrastructure and automation when they materially improve an important decision.
Building adjacent to these areas? If you're using fragmented data to improve a consequential decision and have a credible GCC opportunity, I'm still interested in hearing the case.

Tell me what you're building
Tell us about your experience, what you are building, who makes the decision you improve, how it is made today, what information changes the judgment, and what you have learned so far. Founders working in adjacent areas can explain how their work fits this thesis. Share what you are looking for and how you heard about us; a link or file is optional. No pitch deck is required.
